I ordered this car on 1/05/73 and took possession on 5/05/73. I have 173,800 miles on the car and the paint job is the original factory paint. The only major change I made in 39 years was changing out the carburetors in 1979 to the SUs. I had a lot of vapor locking with the originals, living in Long Beach, Ca. When I moved to Scottsdale in 1978 the vapor locking got worse because of the heat. No problems since I switched out the carburetors. Have taken the car on 2 major trips around the western U.S. and had nothing but FUN. It's been a great car.
I have saved all my repair receipts since the very beginning and even have Mr. K's autograph on my Owner's Manual which I secured at his 92nd birthday in L.A. during the introduction of the new 350Z in 2002.
